Superstar mode is quickly becoming a staple for Madden 24, with its recurring appearances in the franchise getting better and better each time out. With it, you can fulfill your dreams of being an NFL superstar, as the name would suggest. For a few positions, you can become the best to ever do it, and your makeup can go a long way to helping that. Here are the best builds you can have for each position.

What’s the best Madden 24 build for quarterback?

The QB is the most important position on the field, and it’s also the most popular. The best build for a quarterback is:

  • Height: 6’3″
  • Weight: 204 lbs

This provides your quarterback with size. That’s valuable at the position. There are plenty of good, short QBs like Bryce Young. That doesn’t negate the fact that size is an advantage. The weight here is advantageous because it allows your quarterback to be considered “balanced”, but it’s just one pound up from being “agile”. This allows for stamina, agility, and strength. That’s what we aimed for in our playthrough.

The rest of the metrics, from gut size to arm definition, don’t play as much of a role in how your avatar will play on offense. It’s more aesthetic, so you can set that up how you like. It won’t impact your overalls very much in the passing game.

What’s the best Madden 24 build for running back?

Running backs are not as important, but they can be in Madden NFL 24. An offense can truly lean on a top-flight running back, which is where the Superstar mode can excel. Your talent can shine through at any position, which isn’t as true in franchise mode and others.

Nevertheless, being smaller can be an advantage for a running back. The holes that the best teams open up are not always that big, and it’s easier to slip through and around the defense if you’re not a hulking player. There are exceptions, like Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor, but being smaller is helpful:

  • Height: 5’11”
  • Weight: 188 lbs

This is the ideal size for a running back. It’s shorter, but not miniscule. There’s a fine line between needing to run around or through a defender. This build is our best attempt at toeing that fine line. Once again, the chest and leg size won’t impact your overall rating too much.

What’s the best Madden 24 build for wide receiver?

The final offensive position you can fill on a Superstar mode roster is wide receiver. You can play this position as any size. There are big wide receivers like DeAndre Hopkins and smaller ones like Tyreek Hill. For our playthrough, we opted to go for the smaller, speedier version:

  • Height: 5’9″
  • Weight: 180 lbs

This is a receiver in the Devonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill mold. They are excellent at creating space and running past defensive backs, which is why there’s a big advantage to being smaller. This does hurt when it comes to trying to outjump defensive backs for passes, but there’s no need to if you are quick enough to get open more often than not.

What’s the best Madden 24 build for linebacker?

Linebackers need to have size. Speed is an advantage at the position, but they’re tackling almost everyone on the field. From Anthony Richardson to Cooper Kupp, the linebackers hit everyone. Thus, they need to be able to knock them down when they do:

  • Height: 6’4″
  • Weight: 240 lbs

This is similar to the build of San Francisco 49ers star Fred Warner, one of the best linebackers in football. It allows them to have the size they need to take anyone and everyone down while not becoming too lumbering.

What’s the best Madden 24 build for cornerback?

The final position you can be in Superstar Mode is a cornerback. This is arguably the hardest position to play in the NFL, and it’s no easy feat in Madden, either. Nevertheless, if you’re up for a challenge, you can try this one out. It does require some size, though:

  • Height: 6’3″
  • Weight: 200 lbs

This is a model similar to Sauce Gardner of the New York Jets. He is one of the best defensive backs in the entire game thanks to a combination of size, speed, and athleticism. He’s tall enough to leap with big receivers, but light enough that he’s able to keep up with faster pass catchers. This is the ideal build for Madden 24.

After you’ve set up your player, you can choose your team through the draft. You can join the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, or anyone else you’d like. The future is in your hands!

That’s all for the best builds in Madden 24, but be sure to check out the best playbooks, the best offensive and defensive plays, and the best settings for optimal enjoyment.
