You clearly don't understand how the Open Gamer Licence works, you have to agree to it whether or not your part of dnd beyond.

The O.G.L is Wotc's terms of use for their intellectual property, you don't get to choose whether or not your agree to it.

Right, currently DND Beyond open content is under the OGL 1.0a. I want absolutely nothing to do with OGL 1.1 once it is released and never want to agree to it. Since agreement to OGL 1.0a is assumed with a DND Beyond account, I do not want a DND Beyond account to be active when OGL 1.1 is released. Agreement to OGL 1.1 could affect use of OGL 1.0a and I do not want to take that risk, hence, I want this account immediately terminated.

As a long time user of the GPL in various versions and other open licensing, I understand the legal risk of accepting terms to a new version of what may be called an open license when, in fact, it is not open at all

Oh, did Wizards release their OGL 1.1? Or did someone post that they had a "leaked" draft of it and then everyone collectively forgot that people on the internet lie or that things like a part of a draft copy of a legal document can be made to look bad?

I mean, do what you want, but your knee-jerk reaction based on rumors and hearsay is unnecessary and makes you look foolish.

The Kickstarter people have confirmed some of it. They have already been reached out to by WotC.

I want absolutely NOTHING to do with the OGL 1.1 and any future WotC products regardless. I want out. Now. I have been here before and do not like what I see, nor do I trust WotC one bit. OGL 1.1 will be GSL 2.0 on steroids, I guarantee it.

I also do not trust WotC to not infer having an account on DND Beyond is an ex post facto acceptance of OGL 1.1 once it released. I believe acceptance of OGL 1.1 will equate to accepting that OGL 1.0a is no longer valid. I will not go down that road. It is OGL 1.0a or I move on. Period.

Yeah, and OGL 1.0a is a perpetual license. They may think that can make it no longer authorized, it is still a legal license and can still be used. It can never be revoked. I have already modified the 5E SRD for my game table and will release it as Trailblazer for free under OGL 1.0a and there is nothing Hasbro or WotC can ever do about it. The only content in my Trailblazer is material released under OGL 1.0a and content of my own creation. OGL 1.0a will live on in perpetuity and there is nothing that can ever change that. All they are doing is making 6E a repeat of 4E and OGL 1.1 is nothing more than GSL 2.0.
