Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is now open.
Northwest ISD uses the PowerSchool Registration online enrollment service, which provides families with a simple step-by-step process. Enrolling your child - and providing annual proof of residency - as early as possible is one way you can help your campus and the district prepare for the next school year.
In preparation for online enrollment, families are encouraged to ensure they know the login information for their parent/guardianHome Access Centeraccounts. As with previous years, online enrollment will be accessible only through the parent/guardian HAC account, not the student account. Families who experience issues logging in should contact their school's front office for assistance.
Online enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year opened for families ofnew and returning studentson April 15. For families of returning students, most information will be pre-filled with the current information on file for their children. Northwest ISD strongly encourages families to enroll as early as possible, as this helps schools more accurately project their enrollment figures and the number of new teachers needed, limiting the class balancing that takes place after the school year begins.

Returning Students (Students Currently Enrolled in NISD)
Before you begin the enrollment process, snap a photo of the required documentsto submit for TEA and to verify your proof of residency to be uploaded after you’ve submitted your student’s enrollment/registration form. You will receive an email with a link to access our secure form and upload process. Please follow the directions in that email.

Most information for returning students will already appear filled out based on existing records.
To register your returning student:
- Log into the Home Access Center (HAC) and select the student you wish to register near the top right corner.
- Select the Registration icon toward the top of the page and click the Update Enrollment tab.
- Click on the word START to access your child's 2024-2025 enrollment form.
If you need assistance and are unable to retrieve your login credentials using the "Forgot My User Name or Password?" link on the sign-in page, please contact your student's campus.

I have more than one student in the district.Do I need to do this for each student?
Yes, you need to provide information for each student. When you have finished with one student, there will be a link to go back to Home Access Center to switch to another student.
I've completed the form, now what?
When you click the Submit button, this will send the information to the student's school. You will be sent a confirmation email and you can print a copy for your records. Your confirmation email will also include instructions and a link to securely upload required documentation from your phone or computer.
